A HAMPSHIRE teenager who destroyed his electronic ankle tag has been jailed.
Bradley Lee Frank Demarco, 18, destroyed a GPS Buddi tag and strap - a security ankle tag - worth £440 on May 10.
The court heard how the tag belonged to Hampshire Constabulary and was part of the Criminal Justice System.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, the teenager pleaded guilty to destroying the ankle tag.
Demarco, of not fixed address, was jailed for a total of three months and ordered to pay £440 compensation.
