MORE than half of doctors in the south feel patient demand cannot be managed, a new survey reveals.

The British Medical Association organised a survey which has revealed that the majority of doctors in South Central feel patient demand cannot be managed as the NHS looks to resume normal service.

The data shows hat 57 per cent of doctors in South Central believe the prioritisation of patients with possible or confirmed Covid-19 in their local NHS is worsening the care available to those patients with no Covid-19 symptoms.

A further 48 per cent of doctors in the region are not confident in their practice’s ability to manage patient demand as normal NHS service resumes.
