A TRAILER belonging to a convenience store chain has been abandoned on a Hampshire road.
Roads policing officers discovered the Spar trailer on the A3090 in Ower, near Romsey, at the end of their night.
The incident was reported by police shortly after 6am today.
Those travelling on the main road are warned that the trailer will be recovered this morning.
One person who had recently visited the A3090 said they saw it parked in the layby, and fears the trailer could have rolled down the road.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 5.28am today to a report that a lorry had lost its trailer on the A3090 in Ower.
"Officers attended and the trailer was recovered. The road was clear by 7am."
