A PROPERTY has been searched by police after two men were arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs.
Police from Shirley carried out the raid at an address on Beech Road on Tuesday.
They were assisted with the help of the force’s sniffer dog, who was at the scene to “sniff out more evidence”.
Officers linked the incident to Operation Fortress as part of Hampshire Police’s crackdown on county lines drug trafficking.
It was carried out just after 1.30pm, and officers labelled the arrest as “proactive”.
They wrote on social media: "We are searching an address in Beech Road following the proactive arrest of two males concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
"The drugs dog is here to sniff out more evidence."
