POLICE have moved on a group of travellers who set up camp on a Hampshire golf course this morning.
Officers arrived at Cams Hall Golf Club on Portchester Road, Fareham, this morning after caravans were seen parked up on the grass.
Police approached the group and spoke to them regarding the "unauthorised encampment".
The group then moved on from the site and police were able to leave the area.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Police said: "Officers attended an unauthorised encampment this morning (May 21) at Cams Hall Golf Club, on Portchester Road, Fareham.
"The group have moved on from the site and officers have now left the area."
