A HAMPSHIRE man has been congratulated after serving his community club for 30 years.
Roy Cuthbertson, who has been a Meon Valley Lion for three decades, has given a special accolade for his work.
A club spokesperson said: "The club would like to congratulate Roy Cuthbertson by bestowing a Melvin Jones Fellowship Award to mark 30 years of exemplary service to the Meon Valley Lions Club. "Unfortunately, due to the club observing the lockdown rules our president Andrew Brown delegated his responsibilities to the club mascots Lamar and Melvin."
Members are planning a bigger celebration for when Government guidelines allow them to do so.
