A HAMPSHIRE man has admitted carrying out four burglaries in the same village over a two-day period.
Andrew Evan Smith, 34, of Goldsmith Avenue in Southsea, targeted homes in Locks Heath.
Smith appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court following an investigation by Hampshire Constabulary's Operation Hawk team.
He admitted stealing cash and a bank card from a house in St John's Road on April 10 and taking watches and jewellery from a property in Warsash Road on the same afternoon.
Smith also pleaded guilty to stealing jewellery from a house in Alum Way on April 11, plus jewellery from a property in Brook Lane later that day.
He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court on June 29.
