Suspected burglar charged
A MAN has been charged with attempted burglary in Peel Street, Carlisle.
A police spokesman said: “Simon Highmore, 30 of Newtown Road, Carlisle, has been charged with going equipped for burglary, criminal damage, attempted theft in a dwelling and possession of a controlled drug of class B.”
He is to appear at Carlisle’s magistrates' court on Monday June 22.
Police ask anyone with information to call them on 101.
