EMERGENCY crews have revealed they saved little creatures whilst tackling a woodland fire this evening.
A total of 15 people reported the fire at Pennington Common, Lymington, which sent gorse and heath land into flames.
They were called to the blaze at 5.40pm, which had spread to 20 metres wide and 30 metres high.

The little creatures, involving what appears as a lizard and worm, were then released back into the Common away from the fire.
Crews had put out the fire by 7.15pm, according to Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
They received messages of gratitude from people online following the fire.
One person said: “Great job guys, thank you.”
