POLICE want to speak to a man following a knifepoint robbery.

It comes after a 27-year-old woman was robbed at her home in Newcombe Road, Southampton.

After hearing a knock she answered her door to a man asking for a glass of water.

When she went back inside, he followed her and threatened her with a knife during the incident which happened between 2.10am and 2.30am on Monday, April 13.

The man stole a mobile phone before fleeing the scene.

He has been described as white, skinny, around 20-years-old and around 5ft 2ins tall.

He had medium-length blond hair and was wearing a long black jacket "that looked too big for him".

Officers have now released an E-FIT image of a man they would like to speak.

A police spokesperson said: "Officers have been following several lines of enquiry and are now in a position to release an E-FIT image of a man they would like to speak to about this incident.

"Do you recognise the man in this image? Do you have any other information that could help our investigation?"
