IT'S about time the council started to think more about the lives of the young and old Sotonians not all about students.
We have lost a lot of the great outside facilities like lido, skating rink, boating lake from the sports centre, and paddling pool.
A skating rink could be built at the Toys r Us land - it is near the train station and on a bus route.
We could have skating shows ice hockey and public skating again - this was closed back in 1988.
We were promised that a new ice rink would be built.
Also on this land you could build a decent coach station.
