POLICE want to speak to a man in connection with an online caravan scam.

A probe into an online scam advertising caravans and farming equipment has led police to the Fareham and Portsmouth areas.

Customers in several European countries have lost "large sums of money" after ordering goods online which they never received.

Police have now released images of a man they want to identify him in connection with their investigation which began in June last year.

A police spokesperson said: "Do you recognise the man in these images? The same man is pictured in both photographs.

"We are appealing to people in these areas, in particular, to contact us if they know who this man is."

Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting 44190222873.

Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
