COCAINE and heroin preparing kits have been seized from a man "acting suspiciously" during a police search in Hythe.
Officers stopped a man on Park Close in Hythe at around 10.10am this morning, after he was seen to be acting suspiciously.
After conducting a search, he was found to be in possession of small amounts of cannabis and a drugs kit used for preparing heroin and cocaine.
The man was given a verbal warning by police, and was pointed in the direction of local drug support networks.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "A man was stopped on Park Close, Hythe, at around 10.10am today (9 June).
"He was searched by officers and a small amount of cannabis was found on him, as well as drug paraphernalia, all of which were seized. The man was given a verbal warning and signposted to local drug support networks."
