I cannot understand the logic behind the cycle lanes from Chilworth roundabout down to Winchester Road.
It can sometimes take 20 minutes from Chilworth roundabout down to Winchester road whilst using two lanes.
If you cut that down to one lane you could add another 10 minutes to that journey.
All vehicle emissions are at their worst when in traffic, so has anybody worked out the extra emissions that this would cause if the journey was increased by 10 minutes.
How many cyclist it would take to negate the extra emissions.
P.S. I have spotted five cyclist using these lanes in the last four days and seven pedestrians using the footpath. how about three park and rides Bursledon, Chilworth and Redbridge.
