Bassett Avenue. Google Street View.
Having had my first look at Bassett Avenue since the lockdown, I wonder what is in the minds of the city council.
In a normal summer both lanes are continually blocked and the traffic backs to the M3/27.
Now with cycle lanes each side making this main artery one lane either way, I foresee the traffic blocking the end of the motorway with appalling results.
I notice no cyclist using it at school exit time.
Don’t worry about liner funnel fumes, this stupid action will break all records.
