HAMPSHIRE Hospitals Foundation Trust (HHFT) has announced today that they are a Covid free at all of its sites.

The Trust has confirmed that there are no Covid positive patients across their hospitals for the first time since lockdown.

A spokesperson from HHFT said: “We are delighted to say that – thanks to the enormous efforts of our staff – Hampshire Hospitals do not currently (June 19) have any Covid positive patients.

"However, no one should be complacent; this changes daily and the virus remains a very real threat.

“As such, it is just as important as ever for people to follow government guidelines, wash their hands thoroughly and follow social distancing.”

One resident said: "There are currently ZERO patients being treated for Covid 19 at Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover Hospitals. Pretty awesome news!"

The news comes after no new deaths were reported at Hampshire Hospitals for the fourth day in a row, as of yesterday.
