HEDGE End carnival may have been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but our readers can relive the events of the past with these pictures.
The carnival began in 1921 with the aim of bringing a community together to have fun while raising money for good causes.
The recreation ground on St John’s Road was where the event was centred and where the procession sets out from to thisA day.
Next year’s carnival on July 3, 2021 is one of great significance as it marks the 100th anniversary.
