AS Lymington Ferry prepares for its 180th, we take a look at pictures of the celebration that marked its 150th.
The route is currently suspended due to extremely low volumes of traffic following the outbreak of Covid-19.
Lymington to Yarmouth is the shortest and quickest vehicle crossing between the mainland and the Isle of Wight, and the journey packs some incredible views across the Solent.
The service has been operated by a number of companies through the years, including the British Railways Board, Sealink and Sea Containers.
