A CROWN court date has been set for a man arrested after a bomb scare at a Southampton home.
Pascal Knorr-Gulde, 47, is due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on July 24.
He was charged with manufacturing a weapon under the firearms act.
Knorr-Gulde did not enter a plea at Southampton Magistrates' Court today and will be remanded in custody until his next hearing.
It comes following a police raid in Bond Road on Friday night.
The road was blocked for much of Saturday afternoon and a "large police presence" was in the area over the weekend.
An explosives expert was seen donning a protective suit and helmet and two homes were evacuated "as a precaution".
Police officers had raided a house in the Bitterne Park area of the city as part of a firearms and drugs sting the night before.
