BAGS of rubbish, an artificial Christmas tree and a dismantled children's play house are just some of the items found dumped on a quiet Eastleigh road.
Piles of rubbish, believed to be mainly household items and waste, have been left strewn across Boyatt Lane in Eastleigh.
From canvas prints to curtains and old bedding, the rubbish stretched for roughly 3m down the road, and obstructed any vehicles that attempted to get past.
The perpetrators have been described as "vile people" by Eastleigh resident Peter Burgess, who discovered the filth while out riding his bike yesterday evening.
In a social media post appealing for information regarding the crime, he said he was "absolutely disgusted" with the discovery.
The Daily Echo has contacted Eastleigh Borough Council and is waiting for a response.
