THERE is the application by Aldi to build a new supermarket opposite Tesco in Caird Avenue.
Should that happen, it will without doubt have a knock on affect to Tesco.
Tesco could then apply to redevelop their whole site for more tiny houses and flats claiming their own business was longer profitable. Then Aldi would want to expand their store to cope with all the extra customers.
Tesco could bite the bullet, and sell their existing site to Aldi and move into the former Station Road (South) premises formerly, the Co-Op.
It has been announced that Poundstretcher are in trouble.
I also would not be too surprised if Morrison's pull out of New Milton and Sainsbury's, move in.
