A DRIVER caught speeding on a busy road was "late for work".
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit (RPU) spotted a car going 49mph in a 30mph zone.
It was on Halifax Road, in Bradford, going past the Tesco Superstore.
Police pulled over the driver.
The reason the driver gave for doing 19mph over the limit was they were "late for work".
Officers issued the driver with a traffic offence report.
