A SOUTHAMPTON social worker was found dead while laying on the sofa at home, an inquest heard.
Matthew Andreas Stensland, 50, was said to have been found laying on his back on the sofa in a city flat last August.
But after an investigation, the cause of his death cannot be ascertained, the inquest heard.
It was said that his last known contact with someone was the day before his death, at 4pm.
This was on August 25 last year, before he died on August 26 in the flat where he lived at St James House, Orchard Lane, Southampton.
Coroner Jason Pegg concluded the death as open.
He was originally born in Glasgow, Scotland, before moving to the area and becoming a social worker.
