A planning application for the construction of a new home in West End has been submitted to civic chiefs.
Eastleigh Borough Council has received an application, proposing that a five-bedroom home should be constructed at the Allington Manor Farmhouse site on Allington Lane in West End.
As part of the proposal, the existing dwelling and outbuilding on the site would be demolished to make room for the new home.
It is not suggested that any other changes be made to the site, with the access to the property remaining the same, and no further parking spaces being allocated.
While this application has not yet been accepted, the consultation period is scheduled to end on July 27, when civic chiefs will come to a decision.
