POLICE are trying to track down a runner, as part of their investigation into missing person, Richard Morris.

As previously reported, Richard Morris, 52, an ambassador who hosted the Duke of Sussex during a tour of Nepal, was last seen on the morning of May 6, after leaving to go running from his home in Bentley near Alton.

He was seen running along Isington Road in Alton at around 10.50am, and hasn't been seen since.

Now officers have again appealed to the public to help identify a man who was running on London Road at the junction with Lower Neatham Mill Lane, Alton, at approximately 12.30pm on Wednesday May 6.

He was said to be running in the direction of Alton to Binstead and officers say they want to speak to him in connection with the case.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We are looking to identify the person in this image as part of our investigation into missing person Richard Morris.

"The image is from a dash-cam and shows a man running on London Road at the junction with Lower Neatham Mill Lane, Alton, at approximately 12.30pm on Wednesday 6 May.

"We appreciate the image is not very clear, however the footage is available to view on the East Hants Police Facebook page.

"It has now been over two months since Richard Morris, 52, went missing and we continue to appeal for any information that may assist our investigation.

"The last confirmed sighting of Richard is at 10.50am on May 6 on Isington Road in Alton. He is described as white, with greying hair and a beard. He also has a distinctive birth mark on his face and he was last seen wearing a blue, long-sleeved top with a zip, black shorts and blue trainers.
