A TV REPAIR shop could be turned into studio flats should plans be approved by civic chiefs.
Cooper James TV Repair Shop could be turned into six studio flats after plans were submitted to Southampton City Council.
The shop, which offered television repairs, electronic repairs and LCD TV repairs, is on Bevois Road in Southampton.
The building is currently vacant and other buildings in the vicinity of the shop are of residential use on the first floors.
The existing building would require extensive refurbishment to be able to be used by another retail provider since its vacancy.
The proposals could see the creation of six new homes.
A decision on the future of the shop is yet to be made on the plans by city council bosses.
