DOZENS of unwanted bikes have been donated and refurbished and you can get your hands on one.

During lockdown, the 1st Sunningdale Scout Group have been busy fixing up old bicycles during the coronavirus lockdown to raise money for their club.

In turn, residents across Ascot bring their unwanted bike and the scouts refurbish them to be sold.

This Thursday, July 16, Ascot People members will be able to purchase a bike through the Facebook group HERE.

Christian Leigh, organiser of the project, said: "As you can see, we have a great number of bikes again. The last sale raised valuable funds for 1st Sunningdale Scout Group and it also provides bikes for local people at a time when it is difficult to buy them, due to high demand."
