A bus is the only mode of transport for many of us and in normal times we are very grateful for them.
Today I decided to visit my hairdresser after spending four months at home.
After checking the bus website and finding that wearing a face covering was mandatory I was fairly confident about travelling.
However, the number 11 bus from Kingsclere Avenue had four passengers and no one was wearing a mask.
Also, there was no sign telling us that we should.
The seats were labelled to keep people apart which I thought was good.
The return journey from Itchen Bridge was number 17 double-deck blue bus.
No markers on seats and two out of five wearing a mask.
This virus is highly dangerous and there will be a second wave if people do not comply with guidance and the law.
