IT IS now over a month since there was a death caused by Covid-19 at Salisbury District Hospital - the last was on June 13.
Confirmed by Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, this means the total number of patients who died after testing positive for the virus remains 56.
In the last 24-hour period nationally, a further 26 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,103.
Patients were aged between 49 and 94 years old. One patient aged 71 had no known underlying health conditions.
One of these cases were in the south west.
