A ROMSEY florist followed up a £369,000 NHS fundraiser by delivering a giant floral display to the local community hospital.

Eflorist, a national florist based in the market town, made the blooming 1.5m by 1m display for Romsey Hospital

They wanted to thank staff who have been working throughout the pandemic to ensure they are keeping vital NHS services running for people in the town and surrounding area.

EFlorist Regional director Paul Isaia said: “Last month we raised £369,000 for the NHS Together Charities so following on from that this floral display is about putting a smile on the faces of the local NHS workers who have been keeping vital services running during this time. Romsey Hospital is a lifeline for many Hampshire residents and this is our way of saying thank you for all their dedication and hard work.”

The display can now be seen in the main reception area for staff and patients to enjoy.

Eflorist began in 1947 with same day or next day delivery available on a collection of flowers and gifts.

The company supports growers, dedicating resources to the farming communities across the world and choosing British growers where possible. They have an extensive range of courier flowers, which are carefully packaged and sent via tracked delivery. Eflorist also works closely with over 1,500 florist members who craft and hand-deliver bouquets each day.
