THIS picture of Slade was taken at The Gaumont theatre in Southampton at the bands first peak.
The date was February 10, 1975 and Slade were on tour shortly before moving to America in an attempt to crack the US market.
Although the band has changed massively over the years, pictured are the original line-up of Noddy Holder, Dave Hill, Jim Lea and Don Powell.
The Gaumont became The Mayflower in 1987.
