New Forest Wildlife Park
Opening times: 10am-5.30pm Monday to Sunday.

Meet endangered animals at The New Forest Wildlife Park where visitors are encouraged to learn about the animals and conversation at the park.
Some of the species currently at the park include: European bison, giant otters, Scottish wildcats, grey wolves, various birds of prey, owls and many more.

Picnic at Titchfield Abbey

Why not take your family on an adventure around this 13th century abbey that was once visited by the former King Henry V before he went to battle in France.
The perfect setting for a picnic and games, this beauty spot has everything you need for a day in the sun, making loving memories.
With its deep history and medieval architecture the Titchfield Abbey can get any child’s imagination running wild with links to William Shakespeare and Henry VIII.

Manor Farm
Opening times: reopens on Tuesday, July 21.
Price: Adults £8.50, children £5.50 Under 3’s - Free 60+ - £7.50 Family tickets £27.50
The farm is located inside the River Hamble Country Park and has plenty of attractions to keep your little ones entertained including cattle, sheep and pigs in the fields as well as the blacksmiths forge.
There is also a cafe which is currently operating on a take-out basis.
Manor Farm can be found between Portsmouth and Southampton just off the M27.

Mid Hants Railway, Watercress Line
Opening Times: Trains run from 10:50am and the last departure time is 5.10pm.

Fans of trains and lovers of Thomas the Tank Engine can enjoy a splendid day out at the Mid Hants Railway on the Watercress Line.
The bright, emerald green steam train has taken people to war, transported evacuees and essential goods including ofcourse, watercress.
Trains from Alton go through Alresford to Ropley, where you can stop for a picnic, then back to Alton.
