A WOMAN charged with murdering a one-month-old baby has been released on bail.
Chelsea Louise Cuthbertson appeared at Winchester Crown Court this morning.
The 27-year-old of Knightwood Road in Hythe was released on conditional bail and is expected to enter a plea at the same court on October 2.
A trial is expected to take place in January or February next year, the court heard.
The baby cannot be identified as a result of an order imposed by Southampton Magistrates' Court.
It comes following an incident at a flat in Hythe on February 2 last year.
South Central Ambulance Service rushed to the property to treat a baby boy.
Southampton Magistrates' Court heard this week how the baby died on February 6 having suffered from a number of serious injuries.
A 42-year-old man was arrested as part of the same investigation but was released without charge with no further action, according to police.
