A HAMPSHIRE teenager has been handed a suspended sentence after he carried out an "unprovoked" and "violent" attack.
Kyle Andrew McGhee, 19, assaulted three people and used threatening and abusive behaviour towards another on July 13 in Southampton last year.
The court heard how the attack was "a serious matter of unprovoked violence".
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to three counts of assault by beating and one count of using threatening and abusive language.
McGhee, of Bull Lane, Minstead, was committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 24 months.
