A BOY has been robbed by a gang of teens armed with a machete in a Southampton park.
A 14-year-old boy was walking through Riverside Park with two friends when he was approached by a gang of teenagers.
One of them lifted up his top to reveal a machete in the waistband of his trousers at around 3pm on Wednesday. July 22.
A second teen then approached the boy taking his bike and grabbing a chain from around his neck before fleeing the scene.
The bike is described as a Trek 6500, silver mountain bike.
Police have now launched a witness appeal to trace the teens involved.
A police spokesperson said: "Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Did you witness anything or see anyone acting suspiciously? Has anyone tried to sell you a bike matching this description recently?"
