A TOTTON man who assaulted two paramedics failed to turn up to court.
Andrew James Bright assaulted two paramedics in Bishops Close in Totton on December 12 last year, committing an offence while subject to a condition discharge that was imposed by the court on September 9.
The court heard how alcohol had "featured heavily" in his attack.
On February 13 this year, the 52-year-old failed to appear at court.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court on July 17, he pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating, one count of failing to surrender to court, and admitted the breach of his conditional discharge.
Bright, of Bishops Close, Totton, was committed to prison for two months suspended for 12 months and was ordered to pay compensation of £100.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85.
