Man in critical condition with head injuries following assault in Hampshire
A MAN has been arrested following a serious assault, which left a man in a critical condition.
The incident happened just after midnight on July 26 on the High Street in Alton, close to the Vodafone store.
A 24-year-old man suffered head injuries which left him in a critical condition.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
A 25-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both from Alton have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
They remain in police custody at this time.
