A HAMPSHIRE man who was driving while banned from the roads was found carrying cocaine.
Ryan Simon Owen was caught driving at Mayflower Park Gates on June 21 while he was disqualified from driving and had no insurance policy.
The 25-year-old was found to be carrying 0.4g of cocaine and then resisted a police officer.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to one count of driving without insurance, one count of driving while disqualified, one count of resisting a police officer and one count of possession of cocaine.
Owen, of Cooks Lane, Calmore, was ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and was disqualified from driving for 18 months.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.
