A MAN has been charged with raping a woman in Eastleigh last year.
Officers investigating the reported rape of a 22-year-old woman in Eastleigh in January 2019, have today charged an Eastleigh man.
A Hampshire Police statement said: "Police were contacted after a woman was approached by a man and raped in Whyteways in the early hours of Wednesday, January 9, 2019."
David Howse, aged 32, of The Quadrangle, Eastleigh has been charged with one count of rape.
He will appear before Southampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 6.
