A MAN attacked and killed a young bird on a Southampton street, it has been reported.
Police received reports that a man was seen attacking the bird at 9.30pm on Warburton Road in Thornhill.
Witnesses took to social media and claimed that the man was seen violently attacking a bird under a tree opposite the Co-op store on the road.
The bird was described by witnesses as a juvenile gull.
Police have confirmed that the incident was reported to them, but were unable to provide any further information on the incident.
The Daily Echo has contacted the RSPCA in regards to the incident.
