A POLICE hunt has been launched after eight hand built motorbikes were stolen from garages in Hampshire.

Officers have released photographs of the bikes stolen in the raids from two garages in River Way, Andover.

The crime happened overnight between 4.30pm on July 7 and 8.30am on July 8 from the private garages at Itchen Court.

The suspects have forced entry through one of the garage doors and ripped up the floor anchors securing the bikes before stealing them.

POlice said in a statement that the owner is said to be devastated.

The bikes are:

  •  Honda CR 250 2005
  • Yamaha YZ 125 1993
  • KTM 125sx 2012
  • KTM 250 exc 2009
  • Kawasaki kxf 250 2009
  • Kawasaki kxf 250 2012
  • Honda crf250 2010
