RESIDENTS across the city are making the most of their gardens during this stunning spell of good weather.

Today we feature three gardens which have been absolute gems during this extended period at home - one with egg producing hens in Eastleigh, one with a selection of wood features scouted on local walks around West End and another oasis of calm in the city perfect for al fresco dining or a board game.

Jessica is pictured with a trio of chickens in the garden of one Eastleigh home. The animal lover and hens feature in a picture submitted by Paul Leavey.

Gill Smith's West End garden features a nod to her local pub The West End Brewery, as well as a host of wood features and beautiful flowers.

Even the shed has to look pretty in the Southampton garden of Vanessa Marshall! Adorned with interesting trinkets and perfect for a spot of relaxation, she certainly made the most of it during lockdown.

We’d love to see pictures of your garden, window box or allotment - whether it’s blooming flowers or a newly created lockdown pub. To have your garden featured, visit dailyecho.co.uk/yourgarden
