FIREFIGHTERS rushed to tackle a fire that caused extensive damage to a home on Friday evening.
Four crews were called to the property on Cottage Farm, Southampton Road, Hythe at 9.15pm.
According to a Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson, the home was 100 per cent damaged by the fire.

A command support unit was sent from Eastleigh, while Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service supplied an aerial ladder platform and pump from Salisbury.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service added: "We received a stop message at 11.21pm."
