A DISTURBANCE at a Bournemouth address in the middle of the night led to a large police response in the area.
Dorset Police received a report of the incident at a property in the area of Ashurst Road, Bournemouth, at 12.28am on Thursday, August 13.
A resident told the Daily Echo there were several police cars at the scene, with officers seen driving and on foot across the Ashurst Road road area for some time after the initial report of the disturbance.
A force spokeswoman confirmed officers attended and arrested a 38-year-old local man on suspicion of assault.
He is assisting police with their inquiries, the spokeswoman said.
