A DIVERSION is in place following a "serious" crash on the A31 at Ringwood this morning.
The road is closed westbound between junction two of the M27 and the A338 near Ashley Heath.
Highways England has said that the closure is “is likely to be in place for several hours.”

Road users are advised to exit the M27 at J2 and travel south on the A326 to Ashurst.
Then take the A35 westbound and A338 northbound to rejoin the A31.
There is approx. 3.5 miles of congestion on approach to the closure.
Highways England said: “Road users are advised to plan their journeys in advance, allow extra time and consider alternative routes.”
