A FAREHAM man has been handed a curfew after he was found carrying a knife and cannabis.
Denis Read was found carrying a knife on March 7 on High Street in Fareham.
The 22-year-old was also found to be carrying a gram of cannabis.
Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to one count of carrying a knife in a public place and one count of the possession of cannabis.
Read, of Seaway Grove, Fareham, was handed a curfew banning him from leaving his house between 8pm and 8am for 12 weeks.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85.
