Emergency services rushed to a Hampshire street after a house was "struck by Lightning".

Fire crews from Havant, Fareham, Gosport and Southsea were called to Summerleigh Walk in Fareham yesterday afternoon after a fire started in the loft space of a house.

Daily Echo:

Crews used one hose reel jet and two jets to extinguish the fire.

It is believed that a lightning strike caused the fire yesterday afternoon.

Witness Mark Hesselmann, who took pictures of emergency services at the scene, reported that "lightning struck a roof of a house" during a thunder storm yesterday.
