CAN you give these cats a home?

These pets are currently residents at the Blue Cross rehoming shelter in West End near Southampton.

Daily Echo:

Daisy is a 13-year-old domestic short hair who is on the lookout for quite a specific home.

She is looking for an understanding owner who will give her lots of time and space to settle in.

Daisy can be worried by new environments, which means she needs to feel safe when she goes to her new home.

She will need to be set up initially in a quiet room, which will be hers until she has found her feet.

It is possible that she will need this room for some time before she is ready to explore more of the house.

Her new owner will need to be patient and not expect too much from her too soon.

Once she feels settled, she enjoys being around her human friends and having a bit of fuss and a stroke.

She may be an older lady, but she still enjoys playing with her toys. She is looking to be the only pet in a home and is looking for a home where there are not too many comings and goings as she finds new people quite scary.

In the right home, she will make a great companion.

Daily Echo:

Elliot is a six-year-old domestic short hair. He is very sweet natured and just loves to be around people.

He enjoys having fuss and will roll around purring.

Elliot absolutely loves to play, he loves chasing toys and showing off how quick he can be.

He is a lot of fun and will be sure to make his new owners laugh.

He loves chasing through tunnels so hopefully he can have one of these in his new home.

Elliot loves going outside, he did so in his previous home and enjoys watching the outside world from the cattery.

He is looking for somewhere with a garden so that he can explore the outside world again.
