I would like to congratulate the owner of The Compass Inn for saying small children will not be allowed there any longer. She has lost a lot of trade, with lockdown, but still feels for safety reasons to refuse small children.
People go out for a meal, to relax, not be worried about children running about and making noise. It is very off putting. Do these children run about at home when it is mealtimes? There is a lack of decency, good manners and obedience today.
It is hard on parents who do believe in discipline, but they seem to be in the minority. I wish her well and she keeps her rules. It is Health and Safety after all.
Children and hot food and drinks is a big no no.
