Group member Colin Lee posted this picture of Woolston Floating Bridge in 1976. Jenny Batt wrote: "I used to use it every day back in the sixties to go to work in Canute Road for Benjamin Ackerley. My boss was a Mr Sydenham who was John Sydenham's father who played for the Saints."

This picture of the bus station in 1985 was posted by group member Colin Lee. Jackie Hoskins wrote: "Saturday afternoon in town... Buy a bar of chocolate from the shop there and then catch a bus home to watch the football results on grandstand."

Group member Rebecca Jane Wells posted this picture and wrote: "Mayflower park 1980s? Who remembers the slides that were set into the hills and the paddling pool which was a health hazard?"

This image of the hippos at Sainsbury's in Lordshill was posted by group member Rebecca Jane Wells. Vicki Makison wrote: "I'd forgotten about the hippos! Yes loved trying to get on the big one."

Group member Geoff Permain posted this picture and wrote : "I was Bakery Manager at Lordshill [Sainsbury's] from opening in 1977. I made a cake for the staff to celebrate the stores first birthday with hippos on top getting icing on their feet!"

Group member Colin Lee posted this picture of Southampton Tram No.11 arriving at Solent Sky Museum. James Harvey wrote: "Love this ... Great to see the Calshot Spit being looked after too!"
