SINCE launching our new group We Grew Up in Southampton, more than 1,600 of our readers have joined the growing community to share their memories and images of Hampshire.

From old shops to landmarks, cinemas to nightclubs – our members have been reminiscing about it all.

We’ve been rummaging through our archives and have shared a plethora of images from a range of decades.

But it’s not just Southampton open for discussion, we’re encouraging those in the surrounding areas to join, enjoy and contribute too.
